About Us

Where did the ArkoBlox come from?
I was wanting to do something creative with my son that was fun for both of us. Legos are great, but can be complicated (for young kids) and following the directions can be tedious. Using my Home Depot credit card, I purchased a wood cutter and some wood, and started cutting blocks. We played with these, but got bored pretty quickly. My thought was - how can we build something out of wood blocks that doesn't fall apart and has infinite creative possibilities. I started playing with the thought of holes in the blocks, positioned in such a way that the options are endless. Well, a few months later, I had a working prototype in hand.

I wished I had made more! My first order just wasn't enough.

My son and I built:

  • Bridges that he can stand on
  • Marble machines
  • Forts for his figures
  • Planes
  • Trains
  • Car ramps for his Hot Wheels
  • Robots
  • Dinosaurs
  • All different animals

The creativity is endless!
